About Michel Manser - Founder of Yogaherz

Not many professional yoga instructors in Zurich have such a colorful life story as Michel does. He started out as a sales rep. in the textile business back in his 20s. His lifestyle was a complicated one with many unhealthy habits including overworking, partying, very little sleep, unhealthy eating, etc. When he was 26 he was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, which required strong medication. His Lifestyle became even worse. As a result he ended up with a drug addiction and things were looking really bad for him.

He was fortunate to find the right help at a Treatment Center where he was introduced to Vipassana and Yoga. As he continued to practice yoga and meditation, his health improved. At the same time he became an active member of 12-step groups and combined with his yoga and meditation practice his life completely changed for the better. As a result of this healthy way of living he was able to discontinue his MS medication. Through his daily practice, his body has found a way to keep the MS at bay and allows Michel to lead a healthy life, free of any mood-altering substances.

This is how he decided to become a professional yoga instructor in Zurich and help other people achieve the astonishing results he experienced through traditional yoga practice. Today he is a certified Kundalini Yoga Teacher KRI and Yoga of Recovery counsellor. His 4-year Hatha Yoga study is certified in the European and German standards BDU & EYU and he has health insurance coverage approved by the Swiss Yoga Association. Come and meet Michel and experience the tremendous healing power of yoga for yourself.
